about sniper build with ST +1

i saw alot of build saying that you should take ST +1 but e.g. Laser rifle requires strengh 6 to use it, got confused how you can have char with ST +1?

Every missing ST point reduces hit chance, hopefully you can compensate by having higher skill.
You can also raise your ST during a combat situation by using drugs. A 10 AG build works with both nuka and buffout, giving 2 ST point and puting you at 3. In the end you will most probably need 300 skill (max) to shoot properly.
Sniper and most crit builds in general have 1 ST because they have to spend special points everywhere, perception, endurance, luck.

oh i see, thx. So if i would like to have energy weapons like laser  and plasma i would need at leas 4 ST so i could have most AG and Luck? But if i want to mount weapon i need to use drugs? or do i need to use them all the time for shooting?

you can use any weapon even with 1 ST but for every missing ST compared to requirement you have 20% less hit chance but if you get your energy weapons to 300% it shouldnt be a problem to hit target anyways

Decent sniper build should be between 60-110 levels. Depends about ur desire. Better alternative for sure is 300% for small guns and also for energy. Then u can use both kinds of rifles. Basic EW sniper level 60 works like that: https://youtu.be/v7mMUSWlfVI if u dont have lots of levels to use SG sniper, shot in enemies hands in case they are using tesla helmets, will be fine.
