Deleting Character

Just want to know how to delete a character due to the fact i want to use the same name and don't want to make a bunch of different ones. Is it possible or do i have to reinstall it? Any response, that is helpful, would be much appreciated.

Background on me running FOnline:
Im running it on a 15" MBP through wine,
wasn't too sure if this info is relevant to this
but figured id throw it out seeing as most
play, i assume, in windows or linux.

~deleteself password and if u have 10k caps in inventory u will recive a achivment book if not it will disapear after 5 minuts of being loged off

I tried that after finding it on another forum. You mean in the first window that opens with the play,options,etc. and at the top right where it says name and password, you mean right in there right?

If that is what you mean i tried and then it seemed like it tried to log in and then didnt making me think it worked so i closed it and then went to play again and it loaded up my game.

So if im doing something wrong please let me know

no, you have to go in the ingame chat and type what he said (~deleteself [password])

what he said when u in game press "Enter" for chat box and type in there
