Closed suggestions / ModFiles.cfg

It's a nuisance having to add mods to DataFiles.cfg every time after update so I propose a system which I currently use (no, DataFiles2238.cfg is not suitable for files that have to be loaded last):

DataFiles.cfg would load a blank ModFiles.cfg

include ModFiles.cfg

ModFiles.cfg would just be a blank file which you put your mods in (and it wouldn't be tracked by the updater):

In tandem with the RSTW I've decided to also release this nifty little "mod" that highlights all of the items (helmets included) on the ground with a bright, easily recognizable color. Never again lose your items or your sight while spelunking!

Yeah, Dropbox changed their file sharing policy so those files can now be found here.
Just press this button and select Download ZIP.

You need both of them to highlight all of the items.

Remove Scenery Tiles Walls

Fondly known as the looter interface. Carefully curated to remove roofs, walls and keeping windows where they made sense. This isn't a wallhack so don't get too excited, it only removes isometric clutter standing in your clicking way.

Right now the tent quest spawns around NCR even though the Hub is the starting place for new players (alts). I suggest changing it to spawn around Hub. The end.

Maybe not an idea for this session since Kilgore said no perks will be changed, but after testing on 2238 source I don't see no reason why the Slayer perk shouldn't be enabled on this server. The damage output would finally become suitable for higher PvE and PvP and of course we could remove the More HtH Criticals perk since it would become obsolete.

Change Super Cattle Prod weapon perk to either Penetrate or Knockback (if it ever gets fixed for CC). Accurate perk.. I don't even... Also change the Improved Capacitor Battery to require only 1 Good Metal Part.

To craft low tier armors the recipes require too much materials. Leather Jacket and Helmet have decent requirements but the fun starts when you want something higher. Let's see the prime culprits:

Combat Leather Jacket
5x Gecko Pelt
2x Golden Gecko Pelt
1x Fibers
1x Leather Jacket


Combat Leather Helmet
1x Gecko Pelt
1x Golden Gecko Pelt
1x Fibers
1x Leather Jacket

From these I would propose removing the Gecko Pelt requirement altogether. You already used the Gecko Pelts to make the Leather Jackets. Next in order is the Leather Armor and Helmet MK2s:

Leather Armor Mark II
1x Leather Armor
2x Golden Gecko Pelt
1x Brahmin Hide


Leather Armor Helmet Mark II
1x Junk
1x Golden Gecko Pelt
1x Leather Helmet

Golden Gecko Pelts should be removed altogether from these recipes since you use them to craft the regular Leather Armors.

I would lower these requirements even more, but lets see first what the community says (just see how simple the Combat Armor and Helmet recipes are, it's pointless to craft anything else).

Close Combat skill needs something to set it apart from the other combat skills and that's why I suggest that Bonus HtH Attacks should give the player regeneration of AP points even while moving (and using CC of course).
